OUR LOVE STORY

Mike and I first met through our best friends who at the time were dating, and are now engaged, Tim and Christina. We met in July of 2018, and while we got along great, it took one of us a little longer to realize it was a perfect match (cough cough, Mike, cough cough)! 😊 But by the end of January 2019 we were officially dating and the rest as they say, was history! When 2020 started we were talking about moving in together, and COVID speed up that process, as I moved into Mike’s house in March of 2020 for ‘just two weeks for lockdown’ and never left!

Going up north to the Traverse City/Suttons Bay area has always played a huge part in our relationship, as Mike’s parents have a second home in Suttons Bay. We have been up there countless times, and always talked about getting married at a winery. It was during a very impromptu trip on July 2, 2021 that Mike proposed at one of our favorite wineries, 2 Lads on Old Mission. I was completely surprised, and Mike was thrilled to have pulled it off!! With our deep love of the area (and wine), we feel so very lucky to be getting married at Blackstar Farms Winery in Suttons Bay, and can’t wait for what the future holds!
